Reagents for Isolating mRNA from Total RNA

DTI’s mRNA Isolation System provides reagents for isolating mRNA from total RNA in less than one hour. Total RNA is mixed with oligo dT cellulose. Poly A+ mRNA is annealed with oligo dT cellulose and captured. Unbound tRNA, ribosomal RNA, DNA are removed by washing column with 1x wash buffer. mRNA is eluted from oligo dT cellulose and ready for usage in either cDNA synthesis for library construction or probe labeling for microarray analysis.
